The Fair will take place in conjunction with the already established food industry fair GASTexpo & ICE-CREAM. The main purpose of VINO 2011 is to connect local and foreign customers with the region’s winemakers! |
 Special emphasis is given to guided wine tastings and workshops. Evaluation of wines by restaurant representatives and businesspeople is one of the fair’s featured events. The wine selection is separated into two categories, one for businesspeople (evaluated by businesspeople) and the other for wine caterers (evaluated by caterers from different Slovenian regions). |
 In 2009, the GASTexpo & ICE-CREAM Fair was visited by 15,000 businesspeople, all of whom had free entry with business invitations or preliminary accreditation. The first day of the fair is open to the public, and the remaining three days are intended for industry representatives. |
 VINO 2010 is a strictly specialised fair. It offers exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to develop their businesses in the regional markets of Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, other former Yugoslav countries as well as in other potential markets. |
